1-2 FARM COTTAGES – ASHMANHAUGH

We were contracted to perform asbestos removal and demolition works on two fire-damaged cottages for a valued client. Before beginning, we collaborated with an ecologist to conduct a bat survey to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Following the survey, our team cleared the site of existing trees and shrubs, establishing a level base. We then applied a 50mm layer of crushed concrete around the building perimeter.

Licensed asbestos removal specialists safely removed all asbestos-containing materials from the site. Demolition then commenced, with meticulous care taken to segregate fire-damaged waste from general construction debris. All footings and foundations were removed, and the site was leveled. Finally, a layer of crushed concrete was spread across the site to prepare for the construction of two new dwellings.
